Hand-Held Audit and Review PDAs
Mobile technology has delivered an important tool that increases productivity away from the desk. The 1fics Hand - Held module supports direct data entry from remote locations using personal digital assistants or PDA’s. Data collected and reports completed in the field can be stored for synchronising later or uploaded immediately if response time is critical.
Functionality
The 1FiCS audit / review module has bolt on capabilities to carry out audit/ reviews within remote locations using PDA’s. By using PDA’s in the field the system can record audit results and either store them in PDA or if mobile coverage is available to upload the results straight from the field into the 1FiCS database.
This system also has a fully synchronised function for the main user PC. This enables the user to upload and download the latest information without using the 3G network.
